Gareth Burrow

Gareth joined UHY Calvert Smith as a manager in 2006.  He initially trained with a medium sized firm of Chartered Accountants in London, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2001.  He has significant general practice experience, with a particular technical focus on financial reporting, audit and other specialist compliance work such as Solicitors’ Accounts Rules.

Prior to joining the firm Gareth was a senior accountant with a not-for-profit organisation, and he continues his personal interest in this sector as Treasurer and Trustee of a small local mental health charity.

Outside of work Gareth is a keen York City fan, enjoys distance running and spending time with his young family.
